Devynn Mae is an Illustrator based in Pittsburg, Kansas, who specializes in blending digital and traditional techniques.
During her undergraduate at Pittsburg State University, Devynn Mae initially entered as graphic design student but quickly found a love for illustration, art history, and digital painting. Her work is inspired by a fusion of American folk-art and contemporary design, often experimenting with bright colors, typography, and textures. She has been published in The Cow Creek Review, Pittsburg State University’s Art and Literary Magazine, as well as featured in the Off the Press Print Exchange Exhibition at the Kendall College of Art and Design at Ferris State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduation in May 2024, she is pursuing a career in children's book illustration.
When not creating work, Devynn enjoys the mundane things of everyday life: reading, doing puzzles, spending time with the people (and kitties) she loves, watching 2000's rom-com movies, and filling her walls with treasures from local thrift stores.
